Performances and picnics at Maesmor Hall
Come and join us for a fantastic evening of music in the beautiful surroundings at Maesmor Hall, Maerdy, Corwen.
On 23rd July at 7pm, we are fortunate enough to be singing in the grounds of Maesmor Hall and are joined by Cellist Zofia Lodygowska and Tenor Conal Bembridge-Sayers. Buy a ticket and join us for what promises to be a truly magical night.

Polish born Zofia Lodygowska is currently Leverhulme Junior Fellow at Pro Corda International Chamber Mudic Academy and cellist with internationally acclaimed Diverso String Quartet, who are Quartet in Residence at Berlin University for Arts. As a soloist and chamber musician, Zofia is prize winner of numerous international competitions across Europe. She has been invited to perform in international masterclasses with world leading cellists.
North Walian tenor, Conal Bembridge – Sayers is currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He made his operatic debut this year with Opera Ddraig in Offenbach’s Orpheus and the Underworld, and then later starred as Tamino from Mozart’s Magic Flute in their Opera Scenes production. Aside from opera, Conal has performed as a soloist with the NEW Sinfonia and Barts Academic Festival Orchestra and Chorus in London. In March this year Conal was chosen as one of eight soloists to perform for Prince Charles. Conal’s future engagments include performing Malcolm in Verdi’s Macbeth, and covering the lead role in Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Count Almaviva, with Opra Cymru.
